We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you. Wisconsin has passed WIsconsin Act 86 providing Free Driver Education Grants designed to make it easier for eligible individuals to obtain their driver’s license without the financial burden.
Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch may apply below to have their classroom and behind-the-wheel driver training for a Class D (Regular) driver license paid for through the Driver Education Grant Program. Students with grants can enroll in any driver education program offered by an authorized driver education provider. The tuition will be paid directly to the Driver Training school.

Students between the ages of 14-19 years of age who satisfies the income eligibility criteria for a free or reduced-price lunch in the federal school lunch program under 42 USC 1758 (b) (1).
Driver Education Grant covers:
Grant funds issued to a student expire after 18 months of no use and student may reapply
