Failure To Yield Course
Wisconsin law provides the "rules of the road" for proper highway etiquette.
"Online" and "In-Person" Classroom Options Available.
It's The Law
As of August 1, 2012, any person who receives a citation and is convicted for failure to yield under Wisconsin statute 346.18 will be required to attend a failure to yield right-of-way course. This course can also be completed online!

Operating Privileges
If the violation results in bodily harm, great bodily harm, or death to another, the operating privilege will be suspended:
- Violation results in bodily harm = 2-month suspension
- Violation results in great bodily harm = 3-month suspension
- Violation results in death to another person = 9-month suspension
Reinstatement of Privileges
If your operating privilege is suspended, you will not be eligible to reinstate those privileges until you have successfully completed the failure to yield right-of-way course. This course has been designed to reacquaint you with vehicle right-of-way rules and provide awareness of keeping motorcyclists, pedestrians, and bicyclists safe.
Arcade Drivers School offers the required 2-hour course at an affordable price. After you have successfully completed the failure to yield right-of-way course:
- Your instructor will provide the Department of Motor Vehicles with proof that you have successfully completed the course.
- Once notification has been provided to the DMV, you can click here to check your driving status and eligibility to reinstate your operating privilege for updated status.
