If you enroll in our Online Classroom, you will NOT need to choose a classroom location.

You must be a minimum of 15 years of age to receive your temporary permit and a minimum of 16 years of age to receive a driver's license.

Your son/daughter will need to take the MV3001 form provided by Arcade Drivers School. In addition to that your son/daughter will also need to take a certified copy of their birth certificate or a valid US passport. In addition to that your son/daughter will also need to take their Social Security card or valid photo student ID card from their High School.

If your child is enrolled in the 30 hours of online coursework, the entire 30 hours of online instruction will need to be completed before the MV3001 permit application form can be issued.

No matter how old your child is (under 18) when they get their instruction permit, they must drive with that instruction permit for 6 months.

They must be 15 years old, AND have taken or are taking the classroom portion, AND have their instruction permit. Then they can schedule their behind the wheel lessons. The first lesson must be scheduled within the first 60 days of your child receiving their instruction permit.

All you have to do is call our main office at (414) 328-1212 and let them know you have to cancel and reschedule. This must be done at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment or you will be charged a "no show" fee.

Your son or daughter will be given all the instruction on scheduling their behind the wheel lessons. We believe that driving a car is a huge responsibility, so please start by having your son or daughter schedule their own lessons.

Behind the wheel lessons CANNOT be cancelled via email or text message.

Your son or daughter will take on average a lesson every 7 to 14 days. This allows the student to practice what they were taught with a parent. If you schedule a lesson every 7 to 14 days, you will be completed in about 3 months. A student must complete all six lessons prior to taking their road test. Remember, they must have their instruction permit for 6 months.

Your son or daughter can complete the state requirements with our driver’s education program. The minimum requirements of 6 hours of Behind the Wheel Training and 6 Hours of observation can be completed once a student provides a completion certificate showing that the entire classroom has been completed. Once this is provided to our school, you can receive the form so that the student can take their permit test at the DMV, or they can come to our main office and take the test and then proceed to the DMV to receive the temporary permit once passing the test. (A $125.00 deposit is required to receive the MV3001 permit application form).

All completion certificates are filed electronically through the Department of Transportation in about 7 to 10 business days of completing the final behind the wheel, and the student has completed all the other requirements of the state required course.

At the Department of Transportation, it will cost you $35.00 for the Temporary Permit.

To obtain a temporary permit in Wisconsin, individuals under the age of 18 must be enrolled in and actively participating in a Driver's Education Program. This requirement ensures that young drivers receive the necessary training and education before obtaining their permit.

At Arcade Drivers School, our 30-hour online classroom instruction is a self-paced course that offers flexibility to students. Upon enrollment, students can start the course on the same day. It's important to note that according to Wisconsin State Law, students are limited to a maximum of 2 hours of online course work per day. However, they have the freedom to work on the course on any day of the week. The online course must be completed within 90 days. In case a student requires additional time, they can extend the course for an additional 30 days by paying a fee of $25.00.

If your child does not plan to complete behind-the-wheel instruction with Arcade Drivers School, we recommend selecting the 30 hours of Online Classroom Only option. It's important to note that we can only issue an MV3001 (permit application form) to students who have completed behind-the-wheel training with our school.
